Jay took Kyle to the circus with Jim, Juli, Hannah, Sarah, Dorian and Mary. Thanks for the tickets Jim! Kyle had a great time! He enjoyed watching the dogs jump through hoops, and the other animal tricks. Apparently, he was not impressed with the skill of the tightrope walkers. I'll have to get Jay to post some pictures. Dorian took a good one of Kyle eating popcorn!

August 2010
Kyle has learned to turn the crank on the jack-in-the-box! I am very proud of my little boy! He has started bringing Jay and I books to read to him more often and will sit and listen to most of them!

Kyle at 17 months
Kyle is much more of a little boy than a baby. I think it's time he graduates to a booster seat. Yesterday I thought dinner was over, but Kyle decided to sit in my chair at the table to finish his dinner. He looked so cute sitting at the table.
Kyle's new words are "neigh" for horse and last night he fell asleep saying "uh-oh." I don't typically say uh-oh, so I am curious who taught him that. He says "row, row" if he wants me to sing "Row, Row, Row Your Boat."

Kyle at 16 months
Here are a few things I want to make sure I remember about Kyle.
1. His two favorite songs are “If You’re Happy and You Know It” (the stomp your feet verse) and “Old MacDonald” (he loves to sing E, I, E, I, over and over).
2. He can drink out of a regular cup, but is a little messy.
3. He loves ice.
4. He likes to climb on tables and chairs, but is not allowed.
5. He knows that cows say moo and chickens say cluck, cluck.
6. He loves to eat fruit (blueberries, strawberries, bananas, apples, peaches).
7. I think that he beleives all backyards should have dogs in them. (I think this because he asks where the dog is if there is not one in the yard.)

Kyle and Hannah Eating Watermelon
I'm sure if you are on Facebook, you have already seen this, but I just had to post it on the blog too.

Kyle recognizes trucks
Jay went to Dickies for lunch with a friend the other day. Kyle saw a truck and said "vroom, vroom."

Kyle at 15 months (part 2)
I almost forgort. Kyle can feed himself with a spoon! I tried to get a video of this amazing event, but of course, when the cammera comes out the spoon and bowl are thrown on the floor. The effect was very dramatic, but not what I was going for.

Kyle at 15 months
Kyle is such a cute kid. He loves to walk backwards and laugh as I "chase" him threatening to tickle him. He also likes to go down the slide on his stomach. His two favorite books are Bubbles, Bubbles and a specific book about farm animals. He loves playing outside, especially in the sandbox.

April 16th
Last Friday we went to Fort Worth. The Botanical Gardens were great and Kyle loved walking around. He was very intrigued by the water features. Then we went to the Amon Carter Mueseum. Kyle found his echo there! The staff was very understanding.
I'll ask Jay to post some pictures.
