Nathan at 5 months

Nathan is five months old and can sit up by himself!

This past Saturday was a big day for the boys. Nathan rolled over from his back to his tummy and to his back again! We went to a friend's birthday party and on the way there Kyle counted 18 cars as they passed us! Also, Kyle was swinging and I was standing in front of him holding Nathan and Nathan laughed as Kyle got close to him. This is the first time Nathan laughed without being tickled! Kyle enjoyed making Nathan laugh!

My favorite quote from this weekend: "Mom, make it robot arms." This was in reference to Nathan's bottle (Playtex drop-ins). Luckily, I do know how to make "robot arms"!

Before I forget, Nathan started smiling at 7 weeks (shortly after we got him medicine for acid reflux).
Jay tickled Nathan yesterday and he almost laughed (Kyle came and interrupted him).

Kyle really wishes Nathan were old enough to play. Right now we show Nathan things, name body parts, and tell Nathan what sounds various animals make. Kyle is such a sweet big brother and with his help Nathan is learning fast!

This morning I was making a bottle for Nathan and Kyle sat down beside him and asked him what was wrong. Nathan stopped fussing and just looked at Kyle. It was a very sweet moment.

Nathan has been home for two weeks. So far Kyle has become louder, but still deesn't know what to think. Every time Nathan cries, Kyle says "Mommy, feed him!"

Kyle's bed part 2

Kyle was climbing on his new bed and decided to get in bed over the footboard. He got caught on his stomach and it hurt a little so I told him it would be easier if he went around to get in bed. He looked at me, confused, then started turning in circles!

Kyle's Toddler Bed

We have one more week until Kyle's little brother is here!
Jay recently set up the toddler bed for Kyle. (We just might need the crib soon!) Kyle absolutely loves his new bed! The transition couldn't have gone smoother! Kyle only came downstairs once in the middle of the night (so far). The only downside is he now has a freedom he has never had before. He came downstairs this morning (before my alarm went off) telling me to wake up.
